July 13, 2018

Evil Locker Ransomware is exactly what its name implies, evil. There is a certain type of destruction that Evil Locker Ransomware performs when loaded on a PC, which is the common task of encrypting files tagging each with the same file extension that has “EVIL” in its name. When encrypting those files, Evil Locker Ransomware will relay a ransom notification that makes stern demands to the PC user to pay a ransom that is supposedly said to restore the encrypted files.

Unfortunately, in most cases, paying the ransom demanded by Evil Locker Ransomware will not assure victims that their system will be restored and files returned to their readable state. Instead of taking such a risk, it is recommended that users under the wrath of Evil Locker Ransomware use an antimalware tool to eliminate the threat and a system backup to restore each encrypted file.
